View our Cedar cladding installation guide

Western Red Cedar shiplap cladding is kiln dried ensuring that it can be installed and finished without the need for acclimatisation on site. It is produced from consistently high quality No. 2 Clear & Better Western Red Cedar. This grade is almost free from natural flaws, only very occasional tiny grown-in knots and very minor imperfections are permitted, and will not detract from its high end appearance. When the best appearance is required, clear is the only appropriate choice.
The actual grade used in the production of this product is known as No. 2 Clear & Better which is the best grade available in the UK and is used mainly to produce high end cladding products.
We have worked closely with our supplier to ensure that our product is the best of the best. It has a superb finish, wonderful colouration and is produced from predominantly vertical grain stock for maximum stability.
Only occasional tiny pin knots and minor imperfections are permitted within this grade.
